Terms of Service

These terms apply to the App Build Package offered by Sheets2App (we, us, our) to customers in Australia and internationally. Last updated: 23 May 2026.

1. Acceptance

By purchasing the App Build Package, creating an account, or using our services, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not purchase or use the service. We may update these terms from time to time; the version published on this page applies to new purchases. For ongoing projects, material changes will be communicated where reasonable.

2. Service description

Sheets2App provides a fixed-scope professional service: converting your spreadsheet-based workflow (for example Excel or Google Sheets) into a tailored web application within the agreed package. Deliverables typically include a hosted or deployable web app that reflects the structure and logic you supply, basic documentation or handover notes as appropriate for the build, and access through our customer portal during the project. The exact feature set aligns with the scope confirmed at checkout and any written summaries we provide — custom software outside that scope is not included unless separately agreed in writing.

3. Payment

The App Build Package is offered at a fixed, one-time price of AUD $3,000 (including GST where applicable), unless a different amount is expressly confirmed at checkout. Payment is due according to the checkout flow you complete (for example payment link or invoicing where offered). We may withhold delivery or suspend work if amounts remain outstanding after the agreed due date. All amounts are quoted in Australian dollars unless stated otherwise.

4. Delivery timeline

We target completion of the initial build ready for your review within five (5) Australian business days from when we have received payment in cleared funds and the materials described under Customer obligations below. Business days exclude weekends and public holidays observed in the relevant Australian jurisdiction. Delays caused by late payment, missing information, or factors outside our reasonable control may extend this timeline; we will communicate revised expectations where practicable.

5. Customer obligations

You agree to provide timely access to the spreadsheets, sample data, and explanations we need to reproduce your workflow accurately; to nominate a decision-maker for approvals; and to respond to reasonable questions within a prompt timeframe (typically within two business days unless otherwise agreed). You warrant that you have the right to share the materials you provide and that they do not infringe third-party rights. You are responsible for backing up your original data. You must not misuse our systems, attempt unauthorised access, or upload unlawful content.

6. Revisions and scope

The package includes two (2) rounds of revisions focused on aligning the delivered app with the agreed scope (for example layout adjustments, correcting misunderstandings of the supplied spreadsheet logic, and fixes for defects attributable to our work). Revisions must be requested in writing within fourteen (14) days of delivery of each milestone unless we agree otherwise. New features, third-party integrations, major redesigns, or work substantially beyond the original scope may be quoted separately.

7. Intellectual property

Subject to full payment, we grant you ownership of the bespoke application code and assets created specifically for your project under these terms, excluding pre-existing tools, libraries, templates, and platform components that remain ours or our licensors'. You may use the deliverables for your internal business purposes and as otherwise agreed. Until payment is received in full, we reserve all rights in unpaid work product. You retain ownership of your underlying data and spreadsheet materials.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Sheets2App is not liable for indirect, consequential, or special loss (including lost profits, lost data, or business interruption). Our total aggregate liability arising from or in connection with the App Build Package for any claim is limited to the fees you paid us for that package in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim. Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts, or modifies any guarantee, right, or remedy under the Australian Consumer Law or other legislation that cannot lawfully be excluded — see the following section.

9. Australian Consumer Law

Our services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a repair, replacement, or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the services rectified if they are not of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure. Any optional warranty or assurance we give is in addition to these statutory rights. If you are a consumer under the ACL, descriptive language on our marketing pages is indicative only and does not limit your statutory protections.

10. General

These terms are governed by the laws of Australia. You may bring proceedings in the courts of any Australian state or territory with appropriate jurisdiction. If any provision is unenforceable, the remainder stays in effect. Failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver.
