Who we are

Sheets2App (“we”, “us”) operates the website and services at sheets2app.com (Australia). This Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal information when you use our website, create an account, purchase services, or otherwise interact with us.

Personal information we collect

  • Account details: Your email address and credentials when you register or sign in to access the customer portal or related features.
  • Payment information: Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store your full card number on our servers; Stripe collects and processes payment details according to its own privacy policy and security practices.
  • Files you upload (spreadsheets): Spreadsheet files and related assets you provide for scoping, build, and delivery may be stored using Supabase (including object storage) as part of delivering the service.
  • Communications and support: Messages you send us (for example, by email) and metadata needed to deliver transactional or service-related communications.
  • Technical and usage data: Standard server, hosting, and analytics-style data that our infrastructure providers may log when you use the site (for example IP address, user agent, timestamps) as needed to operate and secure the service.

Why we collect and use personal information

We collect and handle personal information only where reasonably necessary for our functions and activities, including to:

  • Provide, operate, and improve Sheets2App products and services;
  • Create and manage customer accounts and authenticate access;
  • Process payments and administer billing (via Stripe);
  • Receive, store, and work with spreadsheet materials you submit to scope and deliver your project;
  • Send service-related emails such as onboarding, receipts, and essential notices (including via Resend where configured);
  • Maintain security, troubleshoot issues, detect misuse, and comply with legal obligations.

Disclosure to third parties and overseas recipients

We use trusted service providers who may process personal information on our behalf or receive limited data as part of operating our stack:

  • Supabase — database, authentication, and file storage for accounts and uploaded spreadsheets.
  • Stripe — payment processing and related fraud prevention and compliance workflows.
  • Vercel — hosting and edge delivery for the web application.
  • Resend — sending transactional email where enabled.

Some providers may store or process data outside Australia (for example in the United States). Where we disclose personal information overseas, we take reasonable steps to ensure overseas recipients handle it in accordance with the Australian Privacy Principles, subject to the exceptions in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).

Retention

We keep personal information only for as long as needed for the purposes described in this policy, including to provide services, meet legal, accounting, and reporting requirements, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. Uploaded spreadsheets and project artefacts may be retained for the duration of your engagement and a reasonable period afterward unless you ask us to delete them earlier and we are not required to retain them by law. When information is no longer required, we take reasonable steps to destroy or de-identify it.

Security

We implement reasonable technical and organisational measures appropriate to the sensitivity of the information we hold, including protections offered by our hosting and infrastructure providers (such as encrypted transport, access controls where configured, and vendor security programmes). No method of storage or transmission over the internet is completely secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Under the APPs you generally have the right to request access to the personal information we hold about you and to ask for corrections if it is inaccurate, out of date, incomplete, irrelevant, or misleading. There are limited exceptions under the Privacy Act. If you believe we have mishandled your personal information, you may lodge a complaint with us (see below) or with the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC).
